CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It's going to be warmer this week but with more clouds and wind.
A storm system moving through south Texas Tuesday night and Wednesday will bring scattered showers to the Coastal Bend with up to a half inch of rain possible with highest amounts inland.
Showers will taper off by Thursday morning leaving us with a dry end to the work week and mild weather.
We'll start today with areas of fog then partly sunny skies with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s inland to near 70 at the coast and south-southeast winds at 15-25 mph. The wind will stay breezy tonight with lows near 60 and a stray shower chance.
Tuesday looks partly sunny with an isolated shower chance and a windy, mild afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
The showers will increase Tuesday night and continue to be scattered Wednesday with high temperatures near 70.
Rain moves out early Thursday leaving us dry for the end of the week with nights in the upper 50s to lower 60s and windy days in the mid 70s.
