Northeast winds are ushering in drier air which will lead to a couple cooler nights and nice days to end the week. Lows will dip into the 50s Wednesday night as winds die down and skies clear. Although it will still be very warm, the humidity will be low which will make it feel nicer. Winds will shift to the southeat Friday and the humidity will start rising. A summer-like weather pattern is shaping up for the weekend and early next week as high pressure aloft builds over south Texas. This will bring temperatures up into the 90s and with higher humidity, afternoon heat indices will reach 100-107 by Monday. The next cold front arrives next Wednesday but only brings temperatures down slightly with little to no rainfall.
