CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Spring-like weather will continue through the week and for the weekend with days in the 70s and nights near 60.
A weak front will move into South Texas and wash out as an area of low pressure moves across the area. This will produce only isolated showers in the Coastal Bend Tuesday night and Wednesday while most of the rain will stay to our west.
Under a quarter inch of rain is expected with many areas missed by the showers which will be isolated.
Today will be windy, mild and humid with highs in the upper 70s in Corpus Christi to the upper 60s at the coast with south-southeast winds at 15-25 mph, gusting to 30 mph at times. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a stray shower chance inland.
There is an isolated rain chance tonight with lows in the lower 60s. The chance of showers continues Wednesday but they will be isolated to widely scattered and rainfall amounts will be light.
Highs will stay near 70 Wednesday under cloudy skies and an easterly wind at 10-18 mph.
Thursday and Friday look warmer with a mix of clouds and sun and high temperatures reaching the upper 70s to near 80 with southerly winds at 8-18 mph.
