It was a pretty pleasant end to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend.
The clouds started rolling in this afternoon and the winds started picking up ahead of the arrival of Tropical Storm Beta.
The coastal areas from Port Aransas northward are under a Tropical Storm Warning.
The coastal areas south of Port Aransas are under a Tropical Storm Watch.
Beta is still likely to move inland near the Palacios region tomorrow.
It is expected to bring some wind and rain to our area the next couple of days.
The biggest impacts will be in our northern counties, where they could pick up one to three inches of rain.
Areas in the southern areas of the Coastal Bend will receive less rain.
Coastal flooding and high surf will also be an issue through midweek.
Drier and milder weather conditions are expected for the latter half of the week.
