Very warm and humid air will be over south Texas Tuesday with afternoon temperatures reaching into the upper 90s inland and afternoon heat indices 100-108. Isolated showers and t-storms are possible Tuesday evening through early Wednesday as a weak cold front moves through but little to no rainfall is expected. The northeast to east winds behind the front will bring temperature and humidity down slightly for mid-week but will climb again Thursday and Friday. Another cold front will move in Friday night and will bring a better chance of rain with scattered showers and t-storms through Saturday. This will also cool temeratures down for the weekend into the 70s to mid 80s.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with lows in the mid to upper 70s and southeast winds at 10-18 mph.
Tuesday: Becoming partly cloudy, hot and humid with high temperatures in the low 80s at the beaches to the mid to upper 90s inland. Heat indices will reach 100-108 inland during the afternoon with southeast winds at 10-20 mph.
Tuesday night: Isolated shower or t-storm chance with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Wednesday: Isolated shower chance and partly sunny with northeast to east winds at 8-15 mph and high temperatures in the upper 70s to upper 80s.
Thursday: Partly sunny , windy and very warm with highs in the low 80s beaches to the low 90s inland and southeast winds at 15-25 mph.
Friday: Partly sunny, hot and humid with highs in the low 80s beaches to the mid to upper 90s inland and south-southeast winds at 15-25 mph. There is a chance of showers and t-storms Friday night.
