Sunshine returns Friday with gusty winds

Clouds will finally clear out behind a cold front which moves through early Friday morning, shifting winds to the northwest and drying out the air. Temperatures will remain mild Friday but will become chilly Friday night as winds diminish. The weekend looks nice with chilly nights and mild days. The north breeze will stay light Saturday but will shift to the south and increase Sunday bringing temperatures up a few degrees. Dry weather continues through much of next week with the next cold front moving through Monday afternoon which will cool us down a bit for Tuesday.

Thursday night: Clouds gradually clearing toward morning with lows in the upper 40s inland to the lower 50s at the coast. South winds will shift to the west-northwest by morning.

Friday: Sunny, windy and mild with highs in the upper 60s to 70 degrees and northwest winds at 15-22 mph, gusting to 30 mph.

Friday Night: Clear with diminishing wind and chilly with lows in the upper 30s inland to the low to mid 40s at the coast.

Saturday: Sunny with a mild afternoon as high temperatures reach the upper 60s with northerly winds under 12 mph.

Sunday: Sunny and slightly warmer with highs in the low 70s and southerly winds increasing 8-18 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the low to mid 70s and south winds shifting to the northwest late in the day.
