The heat and humidity will still be high Wednesday but trending lower as we head into the weekend. The dome of high pressure aloft will move to the west the next few days, allowing temperatures to drop slightly. Also, the winds will be lighter and humidity will drop slightly as well, bringing heat indices down a few degrees. Spot rain showers are possible Wednesday as a weak front stalls to our north but most areas will stay dry. There is a spot shower chance each day into the weekend with rain chances increasing for Monday and Tuesday as tropical moisture moves into South Texas with a weak tropical wave. Overall, it doesn't look like much rain and it won't washout holiday weekend plans.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 70s inland and lower 80s at the beaches and southeast winds at 6-12 mph.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a spot shower chance. Highs will reach near 90 at the beaches to the upper 90s in Corpus Christi and up to 103 well inland. Heat indices will reach 106-112.
Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs near 90 at the beaches to the upper 90s in Corpus Christi and up to 103 well inland. Heat indices will reach 105-110.
Friday: Partly cloudy with a spot shower chance and highs in the upper 80s at the beaches to mid 90s in Corpus Christi and up to 102 well inland. Heat indices will reach 103-109.
