CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A weak cold front brought brief cooling early Saturday, but mild, humid air is returning to the Coastal Bend tonight and Sunday.
A stronger cold front sweeps into the Coastal Bend Sunday afternoon along with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Yet another cold front arrives Tuesday to keep things cool through midweek.
Gulf moisture will be plentiful overnight and into Sunday, so patchy early morning fog will accompany scattered showers. Enough instability will be present Sunday afternoon to generate scattered thunderstorms ahead of the cold front.
Highs in the upper 70s Sunday will plunge to the upper 50s on Monday, then recover to near 70 Tuesday ahead of yet another cold front.
Expect highs in the 50s and 60s Wednesday and Thursday will warm to the lower 70s Friday and Saturday.
Lows will remain in the 40s and 50s through the coming week.
