CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The pattern of abundant Gulf moisture with no upper level support to lift it persists, giving only scattered clouds during the afternoons and widespread fog overnight.

No major changes are expected for the next few days, then a cold front late Sunday will bring drier, cooler air to the region. Weak upper level patterns mean fair afternoons and with no important temperature changes through Sunday. A cold front Sunday night will usher in dry Canadian air that will be 10 to 15 degrees cooler and comfortably dry.

Highs will be in the 80s, cooling to the 70s Monday through Wednesday. Lows in the 60s will cool to the 50s Monday and Tuesday.
