We have one more night with freezing temperatures before we thaw out with a warmer weather pattern beginning this weekend. We will still have cold fronts move through in the next week giving us up and down temperatures, but no freezing temperatures are expected.
There is a Freeze Warning tonight for all areas except for those on Padre and Mustang Island. Lows will drop into the mid 20s well inland to 32 degrees in Corpus Christi but stay in the upper 30s to 40 on the island.
Saturday afternoon looks nice with sunny skies and still a bit cool with highs in the low 60s with a southeasterly wind at 10-20 mph.
We will warm up more on Sunday with a high of 70 after a morning low of 50. There will be a few more clouds and it'll still be on the breezy side with southeast winds at 15-25 mph.
A weak cold front will move in Sunday night and into Monday morning. Only a stray shower will be possible.
Highs on Monday will be in the mid-60s with mainly clear skies. Tuesday through Thursday afternoon highs will be in the 70s with morning lows in the 40s and 50s. We could also begin to see some sea fog rolling into the area in the late evening and early morning hours early next week.
