The work week will end with nice weather as humidity will still be fairly low before climbing this weekend. Winds will increase the next few days as the onshore flow strengthens, making for windy afternoons. We'll also see some low clouds and fog in the early mornings but plenty of afternoon sunshine through the weekend. As the ridge of high pressure aloft moves over south Texas, temperatures will climb, reaching the triple digits in our inland areas early next week and low to mid 90s in Corpus Christi to 80s at the beaches. Heat indices, which are a combination of temperature and humidity and how it feels to our bodies, will rise to 102-108 Monday and Tuesday in the afternoons. A weak cold front moves through early next Wednesday but won't bring much, if any rain.

Tonight: Clear and mild with lows in the upper 50s inland to upper 60s at the coast.

Friday: Sunny and breezy with highs in the lower 90s inland to 80 at the coast with southeast winds at 12-20 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy and windy with high temperatures in the mid 90s inland and low 80s coast and southeast winds at 15-25 mph, gusting to 30 mph.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and windy with high temperatures in the upper 90s inland and low 80s coast and southeast winds at 15-25 mph, gusting to 30 mph.
