The mild weather will be here through Thursday with morning lows in the 60s and afternoon highs in the 70s thanks to a northerly breeze. An upper level wave will move across south Texas Thursday, generating clouds and a slight chance of a shower. As this wave moves east early Friday, our skies will clear and we'll have more sunshine and warmer temperatures in the mid 80s to end the work week. Hot, humid weather returns for the weekend as highs reach the upper 80s to lower 90s. The next cold front is forecast to move through early Monday, cooling us back down early next week.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy with lows near 60 well inland and mid to upper 60s closer to the coast with northerly winds at 8-12 mph.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a slight shower chance and highs in the upper 70s and northerly winds up to 12 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy with lows in the low 60s inland to upper 60s at the coast.

Friday: Partly cloudy and warm with highs in the mid 80s and easterly winds up to 12 mph. The weather looks pleasant for evening high school football games with temperatures in the 70s and light winds.

Weekend: Partly cloudy and hot with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s and southeast winds increasing Sunday afternoon up to 20 mph.

Monday: A chance of showers with highs reaching the mid 80s before winds shift to the north and cooler air moves in during the afternoon and evening.
