Coastal flooding is likely today through Friday as Hurricane Delta tracks north toward Louisiana.
Swells are increasing and will cause water to be high on beaches and bays with tides at 3 feet above mean sea level.
There is also a high rip current risk through Friday. Tropical moisture will graze the coast giving us a slight shower chance today and Friday but most of the rain will stay over the Gulf with the storm.
We'll have more clouds today with a high of 88 and a light shower chance with north winds increasing to 15-22 later today.
Friday looks partly sunny, breezy and warm with a high near 90 and a stray shower chance.
Drier air moves in for the weekend and it looks hot with highs in the low to mid-90s Saturday through Monday.
Heat indices will climb to 100-104 Sunday and Monday due to higher humidity. The next cold front moves in early Tuesday morning, sending slightly cooler and less humid air in for the middle of next week.
