CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Repositioning of the upper-level ridge to the north and west will allow tropical moisture and associated instability to induce isolated-to-scattered showers and thunderstorms, most numerous on Saturday, with a weak tropical wave.
Temperatures will remain near or slightly below normal.
The return to an environment more tropical and less desert-like will mean increased cloud-cover and small rain chances that will result in slightly lower temperatures and meager rainfall totals through next week.
Highs will be in the lower 90s, with lows in the upper 70s. The best chance for rain will be on Saturday, when a weak tropical wave moves ashore.
Even then, rainfall will total generally less than a tenth of an inch.
