We have one more day of the warm, humid weather before changes move in Friday afternoon with a cold front which will cool us down briefly and bring better rain chances. As upper level disturbances move through, showers and storms will move into our far western counties both Wednesday and Thursday nights and weaken as they move into more stable air closer to the coast. A few light showers will be possible late Wednesday night into Thursday morning but will end, leaving us with another warm, humid and windy day. Spotty storms are possible in our west and northwestern counties Thursday night which could be strong as they move into Duval, McMullen, Live Oak and Bee counties with locally heavy rain. These will also weaken as they move east and end early Friday along the coast. Friday we'll start off warm and humid but as the cold front moves in during the afternoon, winds will shift and we'll cool down through Friday night. Widely scattered showers and isolated storms are expected with the front Friday afternoon into early evening with spot showers overnight. Rain will increase Saturday as the front stalls over the Gulf then moves back to the north as a warm front through Sunday which will be warmer and drier with only isolated showers. Projected rainfall amounts from Friday through Sunday are lower at the coast with a tenth to a half inch of rain but farther inland, some areas could pick up an inch to two of rain due to a better chance of thunderstorms.
