CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A strong cold front racing southward across the Lone Star State today will send temperatures down some 20 degrees over the Coastal Bend for your Friday, in addition to bringing cloudy, windy and showery conditions.
Scattered showers and storms will move into the area overnight and linger Friday.
The cool spell will be short-lived, with a quick return of onshore flow by late Saturday.
In fact, the weekend looks to be mostly sunny with highs in the 80s.
Another disturbance moves into range early next week, giving isolated showers Monday through Wednesday as temperatures remain near normal.
Expect highs in the 80s, except lower 70s on Friday.
Lows will be in the 60s to lower 70s.
