Temperatures are just above freezing to start our morning across the Coastal Bend and windy conditions continue over the next several days.
This will mean wind chills will be dangerous this weekend with brisk northerly winds on the order of 15-20 mph will be gusting 25-30 mph at times.
Spotty showers are possible Saturday night as a reinforcing blast of cold air moves into our area. And frozen precipitation is in the forecast for much of the Coastal Bend Sunday overnight into Monday morning.
This precipitation will come in the form of sleet or freezing rain early Monday morning, making for icy roadways Monday morning. Below freezing overnight temperatures are forecast for the beginning of next week.
