CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Warm, moisture-laden Gulf air has swept into the Coastal Bend this afternoon, pushing temperatures well into the 70s while increasing humidity noticeably.
The warm, moist air is fuel for an advancing cold front to generate numerous showers tonight and Wednesday. Another cold front Friday evening means more rain chances, as does a third system on Monday.
Even though several cold fronts affect the Coastal Bend over the next week, temperatures will remain above normal.
Furthermore, actual rainfall totals will be modest. Expect highs in the 70s and lows from the middle 50s to lower 60s. Aggregate rainfall totals will be less than an inch.
