After a big warm-up Tuesday, we'll have a big cool-down Wednesday as winds shift to the north behind a strong cold front which moves through early in the morning. A few light showers are possible with the front with the best chance north of Corpus Christi. It will be windy and much cooler Wednesday with daytime temperatures in the 50s and cold overnight temperatures, in the mid 30s inland to low 40s coast Wednesday night. Thursday will still be cool but we'll start warming up and by Friday and the weekend, highs will be back in the 70s with sunshine to end the week.
Monday night: Mostly cloudy, breezy and mild with lows in the mid to upper 60s and south winds at 15-20 mph.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy, breezy and very warm with highs in the low to mid 70s at the beaches to the upper 80s to near 90 inland.
Wednesday: It will be windy and cooler with temperatures in the lower 60s at daybreak but falling into the 50s during the day as northerly winds increase to 15-25 mph, gusting up to 35 mph. There is a slight shower chance in the early morning.
Wednesday Night: Partly to mostly cloudy and cold with lows in the mid 30s inland to the lower 40s at the coast.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and cool with highs in the lower 60s and northerly winds up to 20 mph.
Thursday Night: Clear and cold with lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s.
Friday: Sunny and warmer with highs in the low to mid 70s and south winds up to 22 mph.
