and last updated

Days will stay warm through Wednesday before another strong cold front moves in Wednesday night. Southeast winds through Wednesday will increase moisture and give us a chance of a few showers and t-storms Tuesday and Wednesday which will become more numerous Wednesday night ahead of the front. Winds will shift to the north Wednesday night with strong gusts to 40 mph through early Thursday as the cooler air moves in. It looks like a chilly and windy Halloween with temperatures in the 50s much of the day and northerly winds gradually diminishing through late afternoon and evening with temperatures falling to near 50 by 10 PM and into the upper 30s inland to mid 40s at the coast by Friday morning. Dry air keeps us mostly sunny with days in the 60s into the weekend and nights in the 40s.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy with patchy fog and lows in the upper 60s inland to the mid 70s beaches and southeast winds at 6-12 mph.

Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a shower or t-storm chance and highs in the mid to upper 80s inland and near 80 at the beaches with east-southeast winds up to 22 mph in the late afternoon.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 80s inland and low 80s beaches and southeast winds at 12-22 mph. There is a chance of a few showers or t-storms during the day.

Wednesday Night: Showers and t-storms are likely with a strong or severe storm possible by late-evening as a cold front approaches. Winds will shift to the north and become strong, sustained at 18-25 mph, gusting as high as 40 mph at times. Temperatures will fall through the 50s, with upper 40s possible by morning.

Thursday: There is a chance of early morning showers as we start the day with mostly cloudy skies which will break up through the day. Temperatures will stay in the 50s with northerly winds at 18-30 mph, decreasing slowly into the evening hours.

Trick-or-Treat Forecast: Breezy and cool with temperatures falling to near 50 by 10 PM.

Thursday Night: It will be cold with early morning lows in the upper 30s well inland, lower 40s in Corpus Christi and mid 40s at the beaches under clear skies.

Friday: Sunny and cool with highs in the low to mid 60s.
