CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a pretty nice end to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We saw a mixture of sunshine and clouds with a daytime high of 78 degrees.
It was also a bit breezy with the winds gusting from the southeast. This trend will continue for the next couple days. The winds will strengthen even more on Monday.
The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with some patchy fog. Look for an overnight low around 59 degrees. It will be warm and breezy again on Monday with a daytime high of 79 degrees.
A Pacific Storm system will be arriving midweek. The best chance of significant rainfall will be on Wednesday. It will be sunny and cooler behind the front. Temperatures will drop to the lower 40s New Year's Eve. We should get up to about 64 degrees on Friday.
