Storm chance Wednesday, rising heat & humidity

We have another chance of t-storms Wednesday as an upper level disturbance moves through. Temperatures will rise into the low to mid 90s with heat indices reaching 100 in the afternoon with easterly winds under 12 mph. It looks mainly dry as we head from Thursday into the weekend with rising heat and humidity and partly cloudy skies. Winds will increase for the weekend, coming in from the south-southeast at 20-25 mph, gusting to 30 mph.

Tonight: Evening t-storms will end and we’ll have a slight shower chance overnight with lows in the low to mid 70s inland to the upper 70s at the beaches.

Wednesday: Spotty storms are possible as temperatures rise into the low to mid 90s inland and mid 80s at the beaches. Winds will stay under 12 mph from the east and heat indices will rise to 101 degrees in the afternoon.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot with highs reaching the low to mid 90s and southeast winds at 8-15 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, hot and humid with highs in the  mid to upper 90s and heat indices up to 106 degrees.

Weekend: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 90s and heat indices up to 112 degrees. Southeast winds will increase to 20-25 mph.
