The tides have been extra high for most of this week, but a high rip current risk is now in place. This threat is expected to persist through Memorial Day Weekend.

Weather Forecast

There won’t be much change from day to day in our weather. It will be warm and sticky with temperatures in the low 90s inland and low to mid-80s along the coast. Skies will be partly cloudy, but no rain is in the forecast through Memorial Day.

Rip Current Risk

The threat for rip currents will be high through the holiday weekend. The best way to avoid a rip current is to stay out of the water. But if you still want to get in, use caution. Adults should avoid going in further than waist deep, and children should avoid going in further than knee deep. Enjoy the beach, but stay safe this weekend.
