Windy Wednesday as the hot, humid weather continues

The weather pattern continues to be dry for the Coastal Bend with only a brief, spot shower possible occasionally in the mornings. The humidity will stay high the next few days, only dropping slightly this weekend. Southeast winds pick up again for Wednesday and Thursday at 20-25 mph, gusting up to 35 mph at times. Heading toward the holiday weekend, winds will come back down and the humidity will also drop slightly. Above average temperatures will continue through the weekend as daytime highs reach into the 90s and heat indices climb to 100.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, warm and breezy with lows in the upper 70s to near 80 and southeast winds at 13-18 mph.

Wednesday- Friday: Partly cloudy, hot, humid and windy with high temperatures in the mid 80s at the beaches to the mid 90s well inland. Heat indices will reach up to 103 degrees in the afternoon. Southeast winds at 20-25 mph, gusting to 35 mph.

Holiday Weekend: Partly cloudy, hot and humid with highs in the mid 80s to the mid 90s and southeast winds at 15-20 mph.
