An upper level trough of low pressure will pass over south Texas through Wednesday, giving us a chance of showers and t-storms. It’s possible we could see some storms late Monday night into early Tuesday morning if they hold together as they move in from the west. Scattered t-storms are possible Tuesday afternoon and again Wednesday. It looks dry for Thursday and Friday but the heat and humidity will rise with highs in the upper 80s. Unsettled weather moves back in for the upcoming weekend with storm chances.

Tonight: Cloudy with a chance of t-storms after midnight with low temperatures in the mid to upper 60s inland and lower 70s at the coast. Winds will come in from the east at 8-15 mph.

Tuesday: Scattered afternoon t-storms with highs in the low to mid 80s and easterly winds up to 20 mph.

Wednesday: Slight chance of storms with highs in the low to mid 80s and east-northeast winds up to 20 mph.

Extended: Thursday and Friday look mostly sunny, very warm and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s. It will be breezy Friday with winds gusting to 30 mph from the southeast. Scattered showers and t-storms are expected Saturday with highs in the upper 80s and it looks windy with gusts up to 35 mph. There is a chance of t-storms again Sunday as we reach the mid to upper 80s with high humidity.
