Clouds move in leading to a chance of rain by mid-week

Posted

Clouds will be on the increase over the coming days as a weather system approaches, bringing a chance of rain by Wednesday night.

Tuesday: Mix of sun and clouds

The sunny skies from Monday will start to fill with a few clouds by early Tuesday, transitioning to partly to mostly cloudy skies by the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the low 80s, but it will be very breezy outside.

Wednesday: Chance of storms late

Mostly cloudy skies will remain on Wednesday, and a stray shower can’t be ruled out. High humidity and breezy conditions will also stick around for the middle of the week. A cold front will start approaching the area on Wednesday night, bringing a few showers and storms mainly in the northeastern Coastal Bend.

Thursday: Clearing out

Behind the cold front, drier more stable air will move in. This will keep skies clear and temperatures comfortably in the low 80s.
