Spring has sprung, but evidently winter isn’t ready to let go. A 30-degree temperature drop will occur over the weekend with a decent chance of rain on Sunday.
Saturday: Warm and partly cloudy
Saturday will be just another ordinary spring day in the Coastal Bend—partly cloudy skies, temperatures in the 80s, and humid air. A stray shower or two will be possible in the evening as a cold front moves through.
Overnight, rain will begin developing and temperatures will fall quickly.
Sunday: Woah!
The rain is expected to continue on Sunday with scattered showers around the area. Temperatures will move very little—staying in the 50s all day. There will also be a very strong north wind. Rainfall totals will range from just a trace to a half inch with the highest totals most likely focused in the southern Coastal Bend.
