The heaviest of rain is forecast to fall to the south of the Coastal Bend, but showers and a couple of storms will be possible on Saturday.
Friday’s forecast
Clouds will be increasing during the day on Friday, with periods of clouds and sun. Morning temperatures will be a little warmer than they were on Thursday—only dropping to the upper 40s—but highs will be in the 60s again.
Saturday and Sunday
The Coastal Bend will see scattered showers and a storm or two on Saturday. The best chance for rain will be for areas south of Corpus Christi, and the most likely timing will be in the afternoon. The weather system bringing the rain will slide to our south, taking the heaviest of rain south of the Coastal Bend.
By Sunday, the weather system will have moved away, allowing sunshine to return. Highs will be in the upper 60s.
