A cold front is already in the state of Texas and arrives tonight. This will bring in the coldest air we’ve seen in two weeks.

Saturday’s forecast

A quick chance of rain with a thin line of showers will be possible as the cold front moves through around 3 a.m. Behind the front, drier and cooler air will take over and so will clear skies. Temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s throughout the day, and the winds will be strong at 20 to 30 mph.

Sunday’s forecast

The sunshine will be abundant on Sunday, and the breeze will be significantly relaxed compared to Saturday. The morning will be chilly with lows in the mid- to upper 30s, but we’ll warm to the low 60s by afternoon.

MLK Day forecast

Sunny skies continue into MLK Day, but we’ll see a warm up into the low 70s.
