The winds will be elevated again on Friday, though not quite as strong as what Thursday brought.
Friday’s forecast
Wind speeds will be between 20 and 30 mph throughout the day on Friday. By evening, they should relax to 15-25 mph. The sun will shine in the sky for many of us, but some clouds are possible to the northeast of I-37. In those areas, temperatures may not make it out of the 50s depending on the thickness of the cloud cover. As for the rest of the Coastal Bend, expect highs in the low 60s.
Weekend forecast
Saturday looks to be a beautiful day for most of South Texas. Highs will be in the mid-60s with mostly sunny skies. The winds will finally be back down to a more typical speed for the Coastal Bend.
Sunday will bring increasing clouds, though most of these clouds will be at upper levels. This won’t be the gloomy low clouds that we sometimes see. Regardless the sky will become mostly gray and murky. Highs will be in the 60s once again.
