Friday night will bring widespread storms to the area as a cold front moves in. The storms will move out for Saturday, but the cold air will stick around.

Friday night’s forecast

More rain is expected Friday night. A cold front will pass through the region and bring widespread showers and storms. Some of these could produce heavy rainfall, and one or two could be strong to severe. The main threat would just be damaging winds, though threats for hail and tornadoes are not zero. The cold front will move through, but that won’t end the rainfall. The rain will continue through very early Saturday morning.

Saturday: Rain lessening

By dawn, the rain will lessen, becoming more sporadic. The clouds will stick around all day though, which will keep temperatures in the 50s. You’ll definitely need a coat to be outside.

Sunday: Beautiful

The best day of the weekend will be Sunday. The skies will clear, leaving us with sunny skies and a high near 60 degrees.
