The clouds have returned to the Coastal Bend, but they’ll bring rain by week’s end.
Thursday’s forecast
Thursday will be another cloudy day, but a southeasterly wind will warm temperatures to the 70s during the afternoon. A stray shower can’t be ruled out, but the best chance of rain will hold off until Friday.
Scattered rain on Friday
We are likely to see scattered showers and storms throughout much of the day on Friday, with the best chance occurring Friday afternoon. Some of these storms could drop some heavy rainfall. Temperatures will once again be in the low to mid-70s, and winds will be breezy out of the southeast.
Line of storms Friday night
Another round of storms is likely along a cold front on Friday night. A few of these storms could be strong to severe, though as of now, the chances remain low. The front will move through by early morning Saturday, and could once again bring some heavy rainfall.
Clearing out Saturday
While rain will be possible early Saturday, the skies will start to clear throughout the day. Temperatures will tumble to the 60s, and winds will be quite breeze thanks to the cold front.
