Cooler conditions will filter into the region on Tuesday, but a big change in the weather pattern will arrive just in time to finish up the week.
Tuesday and Wednesday
We’ll see mostly sunny skies again for Tuesday, but a burst of cooler air will move into the area. This will keep temperatures in the 60s.
Expect a repeat performance for Wednesday, but a few more clouds will be in the sky. This will be the beginning of the end of this week’s stretch of beautiful weather.
Thursday’s forecast
Humidity will start to increase on Thursday, and temperatures will rise as well. Highs will be in the mid-70s, but cloud cover will begin to shroud out the sunshine. A stray shower or two can’t be ruled out, but the best chance of rain will hold off until Friday.
Rain chances Friday
A big weather system will move into the state of Texas on Friday which will spark heavy rainfall for areas to our north. However, the Coastal Bend will still have a chance of rain. Scattered showers and storms will be possible on Friday and Friday night. A cold front will accompany some of the rain Friday night, which will usher in cool air again by the weekend.
