The sunshine is here for now, but it will rapidly disappear over the weekend as we prepare for a damp start to next week.
Friday’s forecast
For Friday morning, all of the Coastal Bend will remain above freezing. In fact, most of the area will start the day in the 40s. The abundant sunshine will warm things up to the 70s for the afternoon, leaving us with another beautiful day.
Saturday’s forecast
Cloud cover will gradually increase on Saturday, and temperatures will once again be in the 70s. This will be the best day of the weekend to take care of any outdoor activities, as Sunday will bring the chance for some rain.
Sunday and Monday
A cold front will approach the area on Sunday which will spark scattered showers across the area. By Sunday night, the front is expected to move through, bringing in cooler temperatures.
We’ll spend most of Monday in the 50s with scattered showers, especially along the coastline. This time, the cooler air will be short-lived as Tuesday makes it back to the 60s.
