Thursday will be our final day of warm and humid weather before a cold front brings in massive changes for Friday.

Thursday’s forecast

We’ll once again start the day cloudy with areas of fog. Sunshine will start to peek through later in the day, but the sky will have a few extra clouds in comparison to the last few days. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s during the afternoon.

One or two stray showers will be possible throughout the day, but overall most of the rain should hold off until early Friday morning.

Friday’s cold front

A strong cold front will start marching through the area on Friday morning. Cold air will funnel in rapidly once the front passes. We’re likely to be in the 50s for most of the morning, and definitely during the afternoon and evening. In addition to this, the winds will be blowing strong from the north. Friday will definitely be a jacket and pants day.

Rain chances are highest during the first part of the day, but a few showers will still be possible during the afternoon and evening. Even if Friday Night Football manages to go on without any rain falling, the fields are likely to be very soggy thanks to the rain earlier in the day.

Saturday and Sunday

Saturday will still be cloudy and windy with temperatures in the 50s. By Sunday, the rain chances will pick up again slightly, with a few isolated showers. Temperatures will warm to the 60s ahead of another very powerful cold front to start next week.
