It looks like most of the rain will stay to our north on Friday, but Saturday looks to bring a better chance of rain to the Coastal Bend.

Friday’s forecast

The rain chances aren’t looking as high anymore for Friday. In fact, most of the rain is likely to stay to our north, but a few stray showers may still pop up. Regardless, the skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will top out in the low 90s. Most of the Friday night football games should go on without any weather problems.

Saturday and Sunday

A cold front will slide into the area on Saturday. Unfortunately, it won’t bring us any cooler air since it will fall apart as it moves in. But it is expected to at least spark a few showers and storms around the area. Some of this could continue into Sunday morning, but it looks like the rain chances will go down to isolated by Sunday afternoon.

Overall, there are likely to be plenty of areas that see no rain at all, and flooding—like what was experienced last weekend—is not expected.
