There wasn’t a lot of sunshine to start the weekend in the Coastal Bend.

Saturday saw cloudy and breezy conditions with an afternoon high around 82 degrees and scattered showers in some areas. Isolated showers are expected to continue through the evening with an overnight low around 66 degrees.

A cold front will roll through South Texas early Sunday morning, bringing a chance of thunderstorms as the front passes. Cloudy and breezy conditions should continue into the morning. Wind will be from the north at around 15-20 mph. By afternoon, wind should slow down and the clouds should clear out with a forecast high around 83 degrees.

It looks like a tranquil week after that in the Coastal Bend, with sunny skies and daytime highs in the low to mid-80s. Overnight lows are forecasted in the 60s.

A weak cold front on Wednesday isn’t expected to impact our weather very much and little to no rain is expected for the remainder of the workweek.
