CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Calallen has advanced to the class 4A state championship game.
The Lady Cats got a huge sendoff from classmates and members of the Calallen community as they left for their upcoming game.
They will take on Midlothian Heritage Friday at 10 a.m. in Georgetown.
The LadyCats are the first team from the Corpus Christi area to ever make it to the state tournament in soccer.
