Highest paid NFL quarterbacks fail to make the playoffs

It was a rough year for the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL, in terms of team success.

None of the top six paid quarterbacks in the league will make the playoffs, which will start on Saturday.

Included on the list include Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers ($33.5 million per year), Atlanta’s Matt Ryan ($30 million),  Washington’s Kirk Cousins ($28 million), San Francisco’s Jimmy Garoppolo ($27.5 million), Detroit’s Matt Stafford ($27 million) and Oakland’s Derek Carr ($25 million).

Which proves that a big paycheck doesn’t necessarily buy team success, especially in the parity-infused NFL.
