There’s more news from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — just a day after they revealed they’re expecting another child! Oprah Winfrey will interview the couple during a prime-time television special on CBS on March 7. This will be the couple’s first lengthy television interview since their engagement announcement in November 2017.

“Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure,” CBS said in a statement. “Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”

Oprah Magazine tweeted the news as well:

Winfrey attended Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding at Windsor Castle in May 2018 and now lives next door to them in Montecito, California. In April 2019, Apple TV+ announced that Winfrey and Prince Harry were teaming up for a television series about mental health and wellness. Prince Harry and Markle have also signed content creation deals with Netflix and Spotify.

Previously, Winfrey has publicly defended Markle, telling bestie Gayle King on “CBS This Morning” that she believed she was “being treated unfairly” by the press.

“I feel that if people really knew her, they would know that she is not only everything you perceive her as being — graceful and dynamic in holding that position — but that she just has a wonderful warm, giving, funny heart,” Winfrey said. “I see all the crazy press around her, and I think it’s really unfair.”

On “CBS This Morning” on Feb. 16, King said she knew Winfrey had been “working on the questions all weekend long.”

“I’m told nothing is off limits, nothing is off limits. She can ask anything she wants,” added King, who was a guest at Markle’s New York baby shower in 2019.

“CBS This Morning” tweeted a clip with King’s comments:

“Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special” will air on March 7 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. If you don’t have cable or other access to your local station, you can watch it online through Hulu Live TV ($54.99 per month) or YouTube TV ($64.99 per month), both of which have free trials you can enjoy before you sign up to pay anything.
