Southside Barbacoa has been dishing up the unique meat for around 23 years.
Of course, you can find a lot of delicious takeout at this location, where they've been open at 5894 Everhart for 15 years.
And while they have a menu stocked with Tex-Mex favorites, it's their namesake that's kept bringing back customers over the years.
“We have people coming from everywhere to come from out of town saying I can’t wait to get to Corpus and get barbacoa," co-owner Maria Aguilar said.
The delicious food has kept satisfied customers coming back over the years.
"They are closed on Mondays, so we have to go cheat behind Manuel the owner and go get tacos on Mondays," dedicated customer Abraham Salazar said. "But other than that, you can count on us.”
