An explosion in Lyon, France caused several to be injured and was a "deafening blast," according to witnesses talking to the BBC news network.
Eight people were hurt, including a girl as young as 8, the BBC reported Friday. People were running quickly from the scene, and one witness reported hearing loud cries.
Officials said the explosive device was full of bolts and screws. Video footage shows a cyclist leaving a parcel outside of a bakery, on a street corner, and that is believed to have been the source of the blast.
No suspects have been identified to the public.
