FULTON, Texas — The story of Augusto Rodriguez's refrigerator actually began in June, when he paid Michael Berger $285 to fix the freezer.

But according to Rodriguez, he had to call Berger again in July because his refrigerator wasn't working.

"He took me to the bank," Rodriguez told us.

He paid $500 cash and has a receipt to show that would be a partial payment.

Rodriguez would still owe Berger $300 to set it up in the tiny RV.

Rodriguez claims Berger told him he would order the new refrigerator from Amazon.

The Troubleshooters made several attempts to contact Berger, but were unsuccessful, until we were sent his Ingleside address.

We went there, and met a woman who identified herself as Shelley Henderson, Michael Berger's girlfriend.

She insisted Berger would resolve this situation with Augusto Rodriguez.

Rodriguez says his freezer and refrigerator are working just fine now, so he doesn't want a new one.

"I want my money back. It's working," he said.

We'll be sure to let you know if and when Berger refunds Rodriguez the money he is owed.
