CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — We have new information on a Troubleshooters story we've been following since June.
It's about this house on Goldfish Drive on the Island.
The owner, Cozy Coastal Properties, and attorney Scott Schmidt, had a pitch added to the roof of the house about a year ago.
but Schmidt hadn't pulled the permits required for the work to be done.
In our story on September 20th, Gene De Lauro with Development Services told us, the necessary permits were finally pulled.
Improvements to the roof made, now all they're waiting on is a final building inspection.
I just spoke with the Texas Department of Insurance.
They told me Windstorm Certification for this property is pending, and that, a windstorm inspection is required after construction in order to get the certification.
The permit expires January 19th next year.
