CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Five years probation.
That's the sentence handed down to a contractor the Troubleshooters have been reporting on since last year.
His name is David Barclay.
Yesterday in Aransas County, Barclay was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication, and ordered to pay back a man named Dave Smith, $12,000.
Smith had paid barclay $12,000 to build a deck at his Rockport home in February 2014, but then changed his mind, and wanted Barclay to refund the money.
If barclay does everything he's required to do as part of his probation, the charge will be dropped from his record.
