We begin with a Troubleshooters about a real estate deal gone bad.
A home buyer claims the man who sold him the home, owes him money.
And he’s waited long enough to collect.
Now, he’s called us for help getting it.

Johnny Garza thought he had a deal to buy a house from Carlos Carrales, in 2017.
$29, 000.00 for a house on Johnston that Garza intended to fix, then flip.
He put $2000.00 down, but the deal fell thru.

Garza claims he had no idea the deal had died until a year later.
He recalled the explanation he was given about why and how that happened.
“They would say, ‘well, we’re trying to get these other people to sign, ’cause there was so many people they needed to sign. It never got done, so…”

Garza said he knew Carrales before signing a contract with him for the house.
But it’s almost 2 years now that he’s been waiting patiently for his money.
In fact, Garza told us he spoke with Carrales Monday, the day after the Super Bowl.
“He said that he’s in debt $12,000.00, and he’ll pay me when he can. And is that ok with you? No sir. I need my money.”

The Troubleshooters have made several attempts to contact Carrales by phone today.
His line was always busy.

As far as the house is concerned, Garza says he doesn’t want it anymore.
But he is still waiting on his $2000.00 down payment.
