Here’s the latest on a couple of Troubleshooters stories we’ve reported.
22 year old Adam Trevino needs a kidney transplant.
Doctors thought one of his sisters was a match, but further tests revealed she is not.

Last month the Troubleshooters told you about how his Aunt Amanda Sanchez held a fund-raiser for him.
So did other family members, but they wouldn’t release the money they raised for Adam.

Today, Miss Sanchez tells us the family sent Adam $100.00, and donated the rest of the estimated $3000.00 they raised, to an organization called the American Kidney Fund.
The Troubleshooters placed 4 calls to these family members for confirmation, but no one has returned our calls.

In September, 2 different people came to us with complaints about Calvin’s Remodeling of Aransas Pass.
Aransas Pass Police confirm that there are warrants out for the arrest of Calvin Collins and his business partner William Simmons.
They each face one count of theft of the elderly for more than $2000.00.
The charges were filed by Wanda Hess.

Wanda Johnson and Don and Patricia Marshall had hired Calvin’s Remodeling to do some work at their homes.
But Aransas Pass Building Official Burl Smith tells us, Collins did not pull the necessary permits to do the work at the Marshall’s house.
