On today’s Troubleshooters, you’ve no doubt heard the phrase ‘going out on a limb.’
Well, a man called because some tree limbs on his property, are intefering with some utility lines.
He claims he’s called AEP, but now he’s called us.

His name is Mario Rodriguez and he says he’s first called AEP in August to let them know that some tree limbs were leaning on the power lines over his house on Sarita. A house he says he’s lived in since 1982.
“So you’re claiming you called AEP in August. I called then since August, yeah. And what did they tell you in August ? When did they tell you ‘oh yeah, that’s been done already ?’ Taken care of ? Today. They handed that problem to a contractor, and that it was taken care of already. And you told them ? I said no. The problem’s still there. The tree’s leaning on the wires real heavy, and it’ll bust. Probably bust at any time now.”

The Troubleshooters contacted AEP. They told us they thought the job had already been taken care of, but since Mr. Rodriguez has contacted us, they’ll re-open the work order and try to found out why the job hasn’t been done yet.
