CORPUS CHRISTI – Here’s the latest on our Troubleshooters story about the lady having problems with a local car dealership.
Her name is Latena Koningverdraag.
She test drove this 2017 Fiat from the Alfa Romeo-Fiat dealership last September, but insists she never signed any paperwork for it.
The dealership told us they have paperwork with her signature on it.
She also claims someone at the dealership told her the car she traded in, a 2006 KIA Optima, had been auctioned off.
The DMV says it has not. It’s still in her name.
But no one knows where it is.
So they’re helping her get it out of her name and helping her file a complaint against the dealership.
The finance company has reached out to her.
But in the meantime, the 2017 Fiat is still sitting at her home.
