This is 21 year old Markus Franklin.
He’s been in the Nueces County Jail for a month now facing charges of burglary of a habitation, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, continuous assault family violence, and 2 counts of robbery.
This is what 63-year-old Lupita Lucio looked like when we interviewed her just days after she claims Franklin beat her and choked her till she was unconscious.
She also says he stole her car.
So she asked us for help.
Franklin is her granddaughter’s ex-boyfriend and father of her 2 children.
He was already on probation for assaulting her.
A warrant was issued for Franklin’s arrest and now he’s behind bars.
